New Publication in the Journal of Applied Econometrics
The renowned Journal of Applied Econometrics has published a contribution by Jonas Dovern, Alexander Glas (formerly a postdoc at the chair, now ZEW), and Geoff Kenny (ECB). In the research paper, a method is proposed to examine whether there are significant heterogeneities in survey-based probabilistic expectations across different groups of actors or over time. This method is relevant, for example, for empirical studies in the field of inflation expectations, which are an important indicator for monetary policy.
