Start of Winter Term 2024/25
We welcome all new and returning students to the winter semester and wish everyone a great start!
Our department is offering several courses again in the Winter Semester 2024/25. The modules Data Science: Data Analysis and Data Science: Statistics are part of the core curriculum for the BA in Economics and many other programs. In the core curriculum of the IBS and IES programs, we offer the Statistics module, and for IES, additionally the Analysis of Macroeconomic and Financial Market Data module. For the first time, we will be teaching the Bayesian Econometrics module in various master’s programs this winter.
Additionally, the Statistical Seminar takes place weekly, where bachelor’s and master’s students present their thesis work.
